Packing Right:

The key is to pack your most delicate clothes in the center of your suitcase, away from any edges. To do this, pack your T-shirts first, then your suit, dress shirts and ties, and finally top it off with other clothes. Garment Bags
Garment bags are highly recommended. The best way to prevent wrinkles in your suit and dress shirts is by carrying the garment bag separately from your carry-on. This is especially recommended if you are going to your event straight from the airport. Folding the garment bag carefully and placing it in your suitcase is another good option. If you are going from the airport to your hotel, this is the recommended and much more convenient way.

Traveling With Silk Ties

If you still prefer silk ties, make sure to keep them away from any edges or sharp objects. Just as with your suit and dress shirts, store you neckties in a cushion of other soft clothes. Unpacking
Unpack your suitcase as soon as you arrive. No matter how tired you are from your travels, unpack your suitcase! You will be thankful in the morning. Unpack your suit, dress shirts, and neckties, and hang them onto a hanger in a well-ventilated area. Chances are that your clothes will be straight when you wake up in the morning.

Ironing & Dry-cleaning on Travel
Most hotels offer dry-cleaning services, and also have irons and ironing boards in each room. Before giving your clothes to the dry-cleaner make sure to check how long they will need to finish the job. If it will take too long, ironing your cloths might be your best option.
