Claret
is one of the most versatile tie colors. In principle it fits every occasion:
the dark grey or navy blue business suit, the casual suit from cord or cotton,
the sport jacket and even the bright summer suit. One cannot go wrong with
this color, which makes it the ideal tie choice for anyone who is not an expert
at combining clothes and colors.
The brown tie is hard to match with anything. For the classic business look
it is an absolute nono. Its traditional feel allows for a rather rural-elegant
weekend attire with a checked jacket and pants made of flannel or cord. Even
if you are not completely subjected to the dress code, you should remember:
