A new twist on striped neckties has been developed by Italian designer Cavallieri: the combination of conflicting patterns.  This tie is an exquisite tour of the color purple, with lighter and darker shades playing off one another throughout.  Woven into the fabric of the tie are stripes of delicate silver polka dots, combining these two patterns in a clever, yet fashionable way. 
 
We suggest pairing this tie with a black suit and a white or cream colored dress shirt.  However, a shirt in a subtle lilac shade could also be used to create added flair.
