Mogador

Mogador

Mogador is a fabric that has a very similar look and feel to Poplin. Both fabrics have a tight weave with a very fine ribbed pattern. The difference between poplin and Mogador is that poplin is traditionally made from combining silk with worsted wool. Mogador on the other hand is a fabrics that combines silk and cotton in warp and weft. In mens fashion Mogador is commonly used on neckties. The slightly stiffer feel, and repp pattern is especially well suited for traditional striped ties and Regimental Ties.
